Paint Your Own Pony!

Start with a genuine leather horse head and turn it into your horse—or create a completely imaginary pony of your own.

Each horse head is cut from natural vegetable-tanned leather and partially assembled here in my studio, leaving the fun part to you! Paint, dye, decorate and finish your pony however you'd like.

Choose a single pony or grab a 5, 10 or 20 pack for families, craft days, horse clubs, parties, workshops or anyone who thinks one pony simply isn't enough. 😉

Each Pony Includes:

• Natural vegetable-tanned leather horse head, leather colors vary since this is a natural product, but all will be the 'naked' beige color.
• Leather mane attached and ready to decorate
• Crystal rivet eyes
• Key ring

The crystal eyes and key ring are supplied loose so you can paint and seal your pony first, then install them once your artwork is finished.

Paint, dye, sealers, tools and other decorating supplies are not included.

My tip before you start

Paint and seal first—eyes and key ring last!

That's the same order I use when making my finished horse head keychains. Leaving the crystal eyes out while you paint means you don't have to carefully work around those tiny rivets or worry about getting paint or sealer on the crystals.

Once everything is painted, completely dry and sealed, install the eyes and key ring as your finishing touches.
