I know ordering handmade leather goods sometimes comes with questions. Here are answers to the most common ones customers ask about Cherokee Rose Custom Leather:
🪶 General Questions
Q: What are your hours?
A: I work in my leather studio Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
Q: Where are you located? Do you have a shop?
A: I’m located in a small town in East Texas, about 2 hours east of Dallas. At this time I do not have a retail storefront, but you can check the Where to Find Us page to see upcoming events and shows.
Q: Who makes the leather items?
A: I personally design and craft every piece by hand. Nothing here is mass-produced.
Q: Where does the leather come from?
A: I source my leather from U.S. distributors who supply hides from Hermann Oak Tannery in St. Louis, Missouri.
Q: Do you have a catalog?
A: Not at this time, but you can browse all of my handmade leather items right here on the website.
👜 Ordering Questions
Q: How do I change or cancel an order?
A: Contact me right away at support@cherokeerosecustomleather.com. If the order has not shipped or gone into production, I’ll do my best to accommodate changes.
Q: An item I wanted is out of stock — what now?
A: Many of my items are one-of-a-kind, so if something you love is sold out, contact me. I can often create a similar custom piece just for you.
📦 Shipping Questions
Q: What shipping options do you offer?
A: I use USPS First Class and Priority Mail for most orders. Contact me if you’d like to request a different carrier.
Q: How quickly do you ship orders?
A: In-stock items ship within 24 hours. Custom leather orders vary and are created on a per-order basis (see Shipping Policy for details).
Q: How long does delivery take?
A: Most orders arrive in 3–7 business days via First Class or 1–4 business days via Priority Mail.
Q: What if my order is damaged during shipping?
A: All packages are shipped with insurance. If your item is damaged, contact me immediately at support@cherokeerosecustomleather.com with photos, and I’ll help resolve it.
Q: What if my order never arrives?
A: Please use your USPS tracking number to check progress. While I can’t control postal delays, I will help investigate if your package is lost or delayed.
💵 Returns & Refunds
Q: Can I return an item?
A: Yes, in-stock items may be returned within 30 days if unused, unworn, and in original condition.
Q: Can I return a custom leather order?
A: Unfortunately, custom orders are non-returnable, since they are made specifically for you and may include initials, brands, or designs unique to your request.
